Inside the Rooms….

Yosemite Suite

One of two guest rooms on the first floor, this heaven-sent room with eleven foot high ceilings has a private entrance through its garden patio, and also an interior entrance from the Hospitality Room. This room has a King-size bed and in its attached bathroom, there is even a two-person heated whirlpool tub with bubble jets!

The Bradford

Spanning the front half of the second floor is the Bradford Suite decorated in cream, beige and rose. With nine-foot high ceilings, it is our most spacious room. King-size bed has pillow top, firm mattress. Overstuffed love seat has a twin-size hide-a-bed with a 7-inch mattress. Private en-suite oversized soaking tub for two.

The Tioga

A confection of cream, mint and pale rose envelops this bright and cheerful smaller room on the second floor. With its queen-size bed, it is half the size of the Bradford Suite, yet has the same fresh elegant feel.  It has nine-foot high ceilings throughout, the creature comforts for a relaxing stay and the pampered feeling to go with it - a real closet and a full size bed.

The Tuolumne Room

One of our smaller rooms, located on the second floor, and perhaps our prettiest room! The nine-foot high ceiling gives a feeling of openness. And, the furniture includes two occasional chairs and museum quality antique furniture, including a tiger oak headboard. Queen-size bed and an en-suite six-jet Jacuzzi whirlpool "tub for one" with ceramic tile and shower.

The Prospector

This is our newest room, and offers cozy seclusion through its private patio entrance.  On the first floor, it provides all of the comforts for a relaxing stay, and a pampered feeling the Bradford Place Inn & Gardens is known for.  A full private bath with tiled shower and petite tub.  With its early California decor, including gold panning tools, a custom hand-carved rooster weather vane, and a gold-rush fountain on the patio.

  • "Stayed here for two nights over the Memorial Day Weekend. I was looking for something close to downtown Sonora so we could walk out without driving, and also somewhere with character. This place was just a block from the middle of the downtown (but off that busy street on a quieter one), and it was very comfortable and interesting, as a Victorian building that was beautifully maintained. Our host was very welcoming and friendly and the homemade breakfasts were delicious. We would go there again if staying in the area."

  • "I greatly enjoyed my stay. It’s in the perfect location in Sonora, beautifully furnished, and cozy. Breakfast was great, too. And they’re even shipping me some items I left behind. I hope to return someday."

  • "We had a one night stay on way to San Francisco and after visiting Yosemite. This is a beautiful character property and the friendly welcome and service from Kim, including breakfast, was perfect. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!"
